Nice to meet you!

Hello! I’m Alex. A digital & brand designer in Seattle, WA.

I'm currently designing the future of communication for over 1 billion people at Google Messages, Android's texting app. Prior to Google, I designed a job platform for performing artists - Backstage. Past workplaces include Amazon, Helix Sleep, Tasting Table, Ralph Lauren and a myriad of innovative start-ups and wonderful small business owners.

With over 10+ years of professional creative experience, my design journey led me to wear many hats - graphic designer, in-house illustrator, packaging artist, marketing design manager, solo product designer, front-end prototyper, and now, a collaborative UX designer in a vibrant team. My varied design path taught me to love every step, from ideas to impact. This big-picture view lets me tackle problems differently, always with users and business goals in mind.

My design philosophy centers around creating experiences that connect with people on a human level. I bring a passion for understanding user needs. I believe that by shedding the pressure of perfectionism and embracing playful curiosity into the process yields the most meaningful results. From leading cross-functional teams to mentoring young designers, I champion a collaborative approach that embraces asking bold questions, diverse perspectives, and genuine curiosity (silliness always encouraged).

Outside of tech, I leverage my design expertise to support a select number of small businesses with branding initiatives. Interested? Reach out to see if we’re a good fit! I’d love to hear from you.

I moved from the Big Apple to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and now live and work from my cabin with my two pups and husband. Off the clock, I find comfort in oil painting landscapes, tackling home projects, and planning trip itineraries.
